Merchant Marine Physicals are a type of military physical exams. They are the part of admission into the US Coast Guard.

A Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed in the U.S can perform a thorough physical examination and determines if there are any health conditions/limitations that might limit the applicant’s performance to safely and effectively perform their duties.

Feel free to fill in the attached form (form attached) and bring in or we can provide a form at the time of examination.

Do not forget your prescription glasses, hearing aids and your prescription medications to bring with you.

MHA/PHA (Mental Health Assessment and Physical Health Assessment)

These are periodic examinations required to check the mental and physical fitness of the employee.

Physicians look for any recent changes in health conditions, significant changes in medications, blood pressure, cardiovascular status.

These exams are completed every year.
